PRIVACY POLICY We want to explain how we manage our website in terms of processing the private data of all the users who visit the site.

This is an informative document issued in compliance with art. 13 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and with art.19 of the new Federal Swiss law nLPD ( Personal data protection code or Privacy Law) and is given to all those who interact with the BERNINA 1865 web services in order to protect their personal data, and it can be accessed online at:

All processing related to the site web services is conducted in the head office of di BERNINA 1865, only by specially assigned staff and occasionally by assigned mainteinance personnel.

No data deriving from the web service is communicated or released. The personal data provided by users who request dispatch of informative material (such as newsletters, etc.) are used only to perform the service or provision requested.

TYPE OF DATA THAT IS PROCESSED Browsing data The IT systems and software procedures used for the website functions acquire certain data during their normal service, which has to be transmitted in order to use internet communications protocols.

This is data that is not collected for association to identified parties, but data which, due to its nature and through processing and association with data held by other external parties, could lead to identifying the users. This data category includes IP addresses, the computer domain names used by users who access the site, the URI (Uniform Resource Identifier) addresses of the resources, the time of the request, the method of making the request to the server, the size of the outcome file obtained, the numeric code indicating the state of the reply from the service (successful, error, etc.) and other parameters involved with the operating system and the user’s IT environment. The use of c.d. session cookies (which are not stored permanently on the user's computer and disappear when the browser is closed) is strictly limited to the transmission of session identifiers (consisting of random numbers generated by the server) necessary to allow safe browsing and efficient site. I c.d. session cookies used on this site avoid the use of other technologies that could compromise the privacy of users' browsing and do not allow the acquisition of personal identification data.

Pursuant to the same article, the parties concerned have the right to have the data deleted, converted into anonymous form or blocked if it is processed in violation of law, and also to oppose the data processing for legitimate reasons.
